One of the main differences between Umrah pilgrimage and Hajj is that there is no fixed time limit for performing it, and Umrah pilgrimage can be done at any time of the year.
The best time to perform Umrah prayers is the month of Ramadan.
The following words of the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, testify to the merits of the Umrah pilgrimage: "Umrah is an atonement for (minor) sins before the next Umrah. The reward of Hajj mabrur is only paradise" (narration of Imam Bukhari and Muslim).
Our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj performed with me" (narrated by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim).
